Profiles turn a backup plan into a routine

A backup profile groups a source folder, destination folder inside the vault, schedule, and retention rule. Profiles can also be manual-only when a recurring schedule is not appropriate.

The Windows agent uses the machine’s local time for the schedule and shows the corresponding UTC times before the profile is saved. That makes the timing explicit without asking the customer to calculate time-zone offsets.

Transient failures are retried automatically

Temporary network and service failures receive a bounded automatic retry sequence. Errors that require a person—such as invalid credentials, a repository-key mismatch, or a full storage plan—stop retrying and are surfaced as needing attention.

  • Scheduled and manual-only backup profiles
  • Per-profile retention and vault-folder placement
  • Visible next-run, retry, success, and failure state
