SaveState affiliate agreement

Version 2026-08-30-v2 · Effective 30 August 2026

This agreement is between SaveState, operated personally by Gustav Fyhn Larsen (“SaveState”), and the person or organization accepting it (“Affiliate”). It governs the referral code, referral link, commission ledger, and payouts shown in the private affiliate portal across savestate.dk and its subdomains.

Eligibility and activation

The Affiliate must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate identity and contact information, and have authority to bind any organization named in the portal. Participation begins only after SaveState approves the Affiliate and records acceptance of the current version, the Affiliate’s legal name, email, time of acceptance, and 18+ confirmation. SaveState may require reasonable identity, age, tax, banking, or authority evidence before activation or payment.

Affiliate access is a revocable commercial permission, not employment, membership of SaveState, a franchise, reseller appointment, partnership, joint venture, or agency. SaveState may approve, decline, monitor, restrict, suspend, or end participation at its discretion to protect customers, compliance, the service, or its reputation.

Configured commercial terms

The portal and SaveState’s internal Engine identify the Affiliate’s commission model, commission scope, customer discount, discount duration, attribution period, and commission hold period. Those configured terms form part of this agreement. A commission can be a percentage or fixed amount in the configured currency and can apply to the first qualifying payment or to qualifying recurring payments. Changes apply prospectively unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Attribution and prohibited self-referrals

  • A visitor may have only one attributed Affiliate at a time, and one payment cannot generate commission for two Affiliates.
  • Before the first qualifying payment, the latest valid referral link replaces an earlier link. A valid code entered by the customer takes priority over a link.
  • The first qualifying positive payment finalizes the customer’s Affiliate attribution. Later links or codes do not move that customer.
  • The Affiliate must not refer itself, its owners, household, controlled organizations, accounts it operates, or a transaction it funds or is reimbursed for. SaveState may reject related-party activity using reasonable indicators.
  • Test, fabricated, incentivized without approval, unpaid, reversed, refunded, disputed, duplicate, or fraudulent transactions never qualify.

When commission is earned

A click, signup, Checkout Session, trial, invoice creation, invoice finalization, or payment-method collection does not earn cash. Commission enters the ledger only after Stripe reports a successful invoice payment in a paid state with a positive amount actually collected. Commission remains pending during the configured hold and may be reduced, reversed, disputed, or withheld for refunds, chargebacks, reversals, fraud, sanctions, legal requirements, breach, duplicate processing, or calculation error. SaveState’s Engine ledger and Stripe records control if browser or portal counters differ.

Payout policy

The minimum approved payout balance is DKK 500 or the equivalent shown for another configured currency. The Affiliate requests payout through the method stated in the portal and must provide complete, accurate bank, identity, tax, invoice, and compliance information requested by SaveState. Subject to verification, holds, lawful deductions, and no suspected breach, SaveState aims to initiate payment within 30 days after receiving a complete approved request. Bank processing is outside SaveState’s control.

Only approved, unreversed commission may be paid. A payout is complete only when SaveState records the completed transfer and its receipt. The Affiliate bears its own receiving-bank charges. SaveState may set off amounts the Affiliate owes under this agreement against commission to the extent permitted by law.

Mandatory advertising disclosure

Every promotion must be immediately recognizable as advertising before the consumer engages with it. Danish-language posts must prominently begin with “Reklame for SaveState”. A commercial link must be clearly and immediately labelled “Reklamelink” or “Annoncelink”. “Affiliate link,” a hashtag hidden among other hashtags, a profile-only disclosure, or a disclosure appearing after “see more” is not sufficient. For other audiences, the Affiliate must use an equally clear, local-language advertising label required by applicable law and the platform.

Marketing rules

  • Use only accurate, current, and verifiable SaveState prices, features, security claims, discounts, and limitations.
  • Do not send unsolicited marketing email, SMS, direct messages, private messages, or other electronic marketing without documented consent that satisfies applicable law. A public post does not create consent to message individuals.
  • Do not make misleading, unsubstantiated, comparative, guaranteed-recovery, guaranteed-availability, or legal-compliance claims.
  • Do not impersonate SaveState, speak for it, negotiate for it, accept orders or complaints for it, register confusing domains or social accounts, bid on misleading brand terms, use malware, forced redirects, cookie stuffing, paid traffic that conceals its source, or interfere with attribution.
  • Do not use SaveState branding outside current supplied assets or alter it in a way suggesting employment, endorsement beyond program participation, or authority.
  • Keep evidence of consents, disclosures, claims, placements, and campaign sources and provide it promptly when SaveState asks.

Monitoring, takedown, and cooperation

SaveState may review public promotions, request URLs, screenshots, consent records, or traffic-source information, and use reasonable automated or manual fraud checks. The Affiliate must correct or remove disputed content immediately and no later than the deadline in SaveState’s notice. SaveState may disable links, codes, portal access, or unpaid commission while investigating. The Affiliate must cooperate with complaints, regulators, platform inquiries, chargebacks, and corrective notices.

Customer data and confidentiality

The portal provides only pseudonymous customer labels and limited funnel, plan, subscription, revenue, commission, and timing information. It does not provide customer email addresses, payment credentials, account access, or backup contents. The Affiliate must protect portal credentials and non-public commercial information, use portal data only for this program, not attempt re-identification, and report suspected unauthorized access immediately.

Independent responsibility, taxes, and indemnity

The Affiliate acts independently and entirely on its own account. It cannot bind SaveState, make commitments or decisions for SaveState, collect customer funds, provide warranties for SaveState, appoint sub-affiliates, or describe itself as SaveState staff or representative. The Affiliate is solely responsible for its content, channels, marketing consents, registrations, records, taxes, reporting, invoices, bank fees, and compliance.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Affiliate must defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SaveState and its operator from third-party claims, regulatory costs, fines where legally indemnifiable, losses, chargebacks, and reasonable legal expenses caused by the Affiliate’s promotion, breach, unlawful messages, misleading claims, infringement, negligence, fraud, or purported exercise of authority. This allocation does not remove any non-excludable responsibility that mandatory law places directly on SaveState.

Term, suspension, and termination

Either party may end participation by written notice. SaveState may suspend or terminate immediately for suspected or actual breach, fraud, abuse, security risk, unlawful conduct, misleading promotion, reputational risk, inactivity, or failure to cooperate. No new attribution or future commission accrues after the effective termination time. Commission validly earned before termination remains eligible only after holds, reversals, set-off, verification, and any rights arising from breach.

Availability, liability, and changes

The program, attribution, portal, and any projected earnings may change or be unavailable. SaveState gives no exclusivity, minimum traffic, conversion, revenue, or continuation promise. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SaveState is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, platform restrictions, traffic changes, or reliance on projected commission. SaveState’s aggregate liability relating to the program is limited to unpaid approved commission finally due for the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. This does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including fraud, wilful misconduct, or gross negligence.

SaveState may publish a revised agreement and require recorded acceptance before reactivation. Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, a material commercial change applies prospectively after notice or acceptance.

Law and contact

This agreement is governed by Danish law, and disputes are subject to the competent Danish courts unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Program and payout requests: support@savestate.dk. Legal notices: legal@savestate.dk.
