RECOVERY

Versioned file and folder restores

Recovery is built into the Windows app, so a backup can become usable files without a separate command-line procedure.

Restore scope
Whole snapshot or selected files
Destination
Original or alternate folder
History
Multiple retained restore points

Choose the version before choosing the destination

The My Backups view lists retained snapshots and their source statistics. Customers can open a snapshot, browse its file tree, choose individual items, or restore the complete recovery set.

Restoring to another folder is useful for verification and comparison because it avoids overwriting the current working copy. Restore progress and terminal status are shown in the app and reported to the customer dashboard.

Retention stays under customer control

Scheduled profiles can retain the latest N snapshots or keep an unlimited history within the plan quota. Deleting a snapshot queues safe repository maintenance so unreferenced blocks can be reclaimed.

Put this feature into a recovery plan

Install SaveState on Windows, protect a representative data set, and test the restore before it is urgent.
